An undefeated Wolfpack team clashed with the only other team to finish a season undefeated - Minneapolis - and met their match with the Maulers, who spoiled the dominant Louisville team's chances of ever winning a SFL title. Both teams folded after that season in a league shakeup.

Nearly breaking its own record for points scored in a SFL Championship Game, Queen City won its third ring and Houston has yet to make it back to the big one.

SEASON 5: D.C. 31, SANTA FE 30
D.C. won three road games to claim the title, league HQ suffered a power malfunction to its systems that interrupted - but by a miracle did not lose - the game, which was plugged into a different breaker. It turned out to be one of the greatest games in league history and was the first to feature in-studio commentary from others besides Irvine.
