SFL Power Rankings: Week 6 Writer's Block

Alright, late release is late and all that. Another week of chaos as 7 of the Top 16 lost this past week and an additional two were on a bye week. With book lock approaching this week will we start to settle in with top teams or are the shake ups here to stay?

Sam Blotner strikes again. All I can think about is Patrick Star’s enigma of a mind and how Sam’s puts his to shame. Undefeated Washington at 6, two loss Arizona at 2, Queen City nearly last! This is what happens when we take bullying out of schools. Denver seems to be a curious case at 3-2 as they get points from everyone except Brett Killian but placement is all over from mid to low end. Besides that, a quieter week in rankings as the same 16 stay on the graphic.

#3 Florida Storm (4-1)

Can anyone else stop the Storm this season? The Vandelay Rule finally bit Florida & Art 2 weeks ago and suspended the Florida coaching staff for these 2 weeks. The first game under suspension was a 23-0 shellacking of winless Nashville. This week is against a Carolina squad that has had their number in the past. But another win here for Florida would mean they sweep the division slate and go up 2 games, essentially 3, on Carolina and the rest of the division is 2-12 collectively. I hate to call things early but if Florida comes away with the victory they can start printing the shirts and caps for their division title as I do not see anyone else coming close to them as well as overcoming the H2H tiebreaker.

While we’re talking about calling races early let’s talk about 2-2 Minnesota quickly running out of marquee wins for their resume. Now, home is where the heart is and for the Legend it is also where their two wins are so coming into this week they should feel good, as they generally do here, at home vs some stiffer competition. But Monday Night Spectaculars have been living up to the standards of the scheduling Gods so could this be where the Legend ends?
